Mr Glyn Evans

Mr Glyn Evans is a Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedics with an interest in Knee Pain and Swelling, Arthritis of the Knee and Sports Injuries. He is based in London and the South East. He treats older patients with early wear and tear, or established arthritis of the knee as well as a young adults with sports injuries. Glyn qualified in Cardiff in 1975 and trained in Liverpool and Edinburgh. He was appointed to the Academic Orthopaedic Unit, Southampton, as a Lecturer in 1984, became an NHS Consultant in 1990 and has been in full-time private practice since 2004. Glyn has been qualified in Trauma and Orthopaedics in 1990 and sees patients regularly in London and the South East.  

Special Interests:  Knee pain and swelling and the conservative management of osteoarthritis of the knee and sports injuries. He is an expert in knee injections using steroids, hyaluronans and Arthrosamid, He is a membeter of the British Trauma Society, the British Orthopaedic Association and the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine. He has a broad interest in radiology especially of the musculo-skeletal system and a member of the European Society of Radiology and the British Institute of Radiology and is an expert in MRI scans of the knee.. He has been a Member of the Royal National Osteoporosis Society for many years and happy to advise on osteoporosis management..
