Ms Giulia Colavitti

Miss Giulia Colavitti, MD, FEBOPRAS, FRCS(Plast) is a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at Southmead Hospital, North Bristol NHS Trust, with a specialist interest in sarcoma surgery and complex microsurgical reconstruction. She graduated cum laude in Medicine from the University of Trieste in 2011 and completed her specialist training in Plastic Surgery at the University of Padua in 2017, focusing on microsurgical reconstruction of the foot. Miss Colavitti subsequently moved to the United Kingdom, where she undertook advanced fellowship training in microsurgical breast and limb reconstruction. She obtained the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (FEBOPRAS) in 2018 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS Plast) in 2021. Dr. Colavitti has published widely in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international conferences on topics including sarcoma management, microsurgical breast reconstruction, and lower limb reconstruction within British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS), the British Sarcoma Group, and the World societies of reconstructive microsurgery. In addition to her NHS practice, she also has a strong interest in skin and cosmetic surgery, particularly breast and body contouring procedures.
