Mr Giorgio Albanese

I currently work as private Consultant Ophthalmologist with expertise in Oculoplastic and Orbital surgery. I am a double-registered, board-certified Oculoplastic and Orbital Surgeon and I work both in Italy and in the United Kingdom. In Italy, my practice is centred in Rome, whilst in the UK I work for Newmedica Nottingham. I have been working for 6 months at San Giovanni Addolorata Hospital between OCtober 2023 and March 2024., then I left to focus on my private practice. I was the Lead of the Oculoplastic and Orbital Service at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, UK, for 4 years until September 2023. My journey through Ophthalmology and Oculoplastics features a robust world-class training in some of the best excellence centres worldwide. My primary goal is to deliver top quality care for patients with any eyelids, lacrimal and orbital problems. My interest covers also cosmetic periocular procedures.
