Dr Gerald George

Dr Gerald George is a Consultant Rheumatologist who qualified from the University of Southampton, is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, a member of the British Society for Rheumatology and a member of the Royal Osteoporosis Society.  He has an MBA business qualification from the University of Warwick. Dr Gerald George covers all aspects of adult rheumatology including inflammatory arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, connective tissue diseases, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), Sjogren's syndrome, systemic sclerosis, osteoarthritis, gout, polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR), giant cell arteritis / temporal arteritis (GCA), metabolic bone diseases, osteoporosis and osteomalacia, back pain, and soft tissue rheumatism which includes tendonitis, tenosynovitis, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, golfer's elbow and plantar fasciitis.  He performs rheumatological procedures including joint aspiration and injections and soft tissue injections.  He also performs musculoskeletal ultrasound in the context of early inflammatory arthritis.
