GMC reg: 4512895I have been a consultant general, colorectal and laparoscopic surgeon at the Lister Hospital (East and North Herts NHS Trust) since 2011. Following higher surgical training in Leicester I gained further expertise by undertaking a specialist laparoscopic colorectal fellowship at the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham. I have a particular interest in laparoscopic surgery for colorectal cancer and inflammatory bowel disease. Other specialist interests include laparoscopic cholecystectomy for gallstones, laparoscopic hernia surgery (inguinal and incisional), colonoscopy and the treatment of perianal conditions (haemorrhoids, fistula, fissure, pilonidal sinus). I have previously held the posts of Clinical Director for General Surgery Colorectal Cancer MDT lead at Lister Hospital and am a University of Cambridge senior clinical tutor. I have a high volume general and colorectal surgery practice and am an accredited Bowel Cancer Screening Programme colonoscopist.
