Mr Georgios Morphis

George Morphis joined the team of Ophthalmology Consultants of the Victoria Eye Unit in the County Hospital in January 2013. He is a specialist cataract and vitreoretinal surgeon. He studied medicine at the National and Capodistrian University of Athens. He then trained in Internal Medicine at the Nassau University Medical Center (NY, USA). Following this, he had his core Ophthalmology training at the Red Cross General Hospital in Athens, Greece. He became a fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology in 2009 (FEBOphth, Paris). In addition George Morphis had extensive Ophthalmology training at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital where he had 2 fellowships.
