George Webster is a consultant gastroenterologist at University College London Hospitals (UCLH), and The Royal Free London, and has also run a busy private practice for more than 15 years. He trained in London and Sydney in general gastroenterology, hepatology, and interventional endoscopy. He is actively involved in clinical research with >70 publications, and an ongoing research interest related to ERCP, cholangioscopy, IgG4-related disease, pancreaticobiliary medicine and complex endoscopy. He is actively involved in endoscopy training nationally and internationally, co-author of the Oxford Handbook of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, and is director of the annual London Live Endoscopy Course.
