Miss Gemma Manasseh

Gemma Manasseh is a Consultant Ophthalmologist and Oculoplastic surgeon with over 17 years of training across London, Bristol, Bath and Cheltenham, including two fellowships in cataract and oculoplastic surgery. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and a member of the British Oculoplastic Surgical Society. She specialises in performing a range of cosmetic, reconstructive and functional eyelid and lacrimal surgeries, and complex cataract surgery. She is committed to improving patient outcomes through original research. She has a Masters degree from University College London in the field of vision research, and has published and presented award-winning research in the field of cataract and oculoplastic surgery that has had a worldwide impact. She has written chapters for textbooks and is a peer reviewer for several journals, including the British Medical Journal. Gemma is kind, approachable and quickly establishes a good relationship with her patients with her gentle approach. She takes the time to explore their needs and priorities.
