I am a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with over 17 years of clinical experience, dedicated to providing the highest standard of women’s healthcare. I offer expert consultations at Woodlands Hospital in Darlington, part of Circle Health Group, as well as at my private practice, Consultant Choice Clinic, where I see both self-pay and insured patients. I am deeply committed to improving the well-being and quality of life of my patients. In addition to my private practice, I serve as a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust. In this role, I manage a comprehensive range of gynaecological conditions, including abnormal uterine and post-menopausal bleeding, ovarian cysts, pelvic masses, endometriosis, fibroids, pelvic pain, abnormal cervical smears, and vulval diseases. My specialist expertise includes gynaecological oncology diagnostics, colposcopy, and both open and minimally invasive (laparoscopic or “keyhole”) surgery. I am passionate about advancing safe surgical practice and delivering optimal clinical outcomes through precision and multidisciplinary collaboration. My commitment to excellence is reinforced by advanced training and accreditation from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG). I also play a leading role in a trust-wide multidisciplinary service for the diagnosis and management of suspected vulval disease, reflecting my long-standing interest and contribution in this field. I am actively involved in gynaecological oncology diagnostics and treatment, ensuring patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care throughout their journey. In addition to my clinical and academic work, I undertake medico-legal practice as an expert witness, providing independent, evidence-based opinions to support legal proceedings in women’s health and gynaecology.
