GMC reg: 2825490Qualified from the Westminster Medical school in 1983. Completed postgraduate medical training and award of the MRCP in 1987 and decided on a career in oncology. Appointment to in Imperial cancer Research Campaign research fellowship at the Royal Postgraduate medical school (now Imperial at Hammersmith Hospital) and awarded a PhD in the role od HER - 2 and potential inhibition of the protein in 1993. Received specialist training in medical oncology as a Senior Registrar between 1993 to 1997 and appointed to a consultant post at St Georges Hospital in December 1997.
