Mr Farokh Wadia

Mr Farokh Wadia is a Consultant Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Southampton, with over a decade of consultant experience treating children and adolescents with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. He holds substantive NHS posts at Southampton Children's Hospital and sees private patients at Spire Southampton Hospital. His areas of special interest are paediatric and adolescent knee disorders, paediatric upper limb and hand surgery, and limb reconstruction. He treats conditions including patellar instability, meniscal and cartilage problems, congenital hand and upper limb differences, Osteotomies and limb lengthening for lower limb deformity. Mr Wadia gained his CCT in Trauma and Orthopaedics in 2013. He completed specialist fellowships at Great Ormond Street Hospital, the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, and Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston. He is committed to an evidence-based, family-centred approach, taking time to help parents and young people understand their child's diagnosis so that treatment decisions can be made with clarity and confidence. Alongside his clinical practice, he is actively involved in surgical training and education.
