Mr Alfhaily is a highly experienced Consultant Gynaecologist specialising in urogynaecology, gynaecology ambulatory care and colposcopy. He has a keen interest in medical education having completed the RCOG advanced training skills modules in medical education and urogynaecology. He recently completely a master degree in medical law and ethics. Urogynaecology including surgical and conservative management of prolapse and urinary incontinence such as vaginal surgery including vaginal hysterectomy, pelvic floor repair, abdominal fascial slings, colpocleisis, sacrocolpopexy and sacrospinous fixation; recurrent bladder infection, voiding problem. Ambulatory care for gynaecology including diagnostic and operative hysteroscopic procedures such diagnosis of endometrial cancer, removal of endometrial polyps and intracavity fibroids and removing intrauterine adhesions.  Common gynaecological conditions such as heavy periods or abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroids management, pelvic pain, benign ovarian masses, gynaecological sepsis menopausal symptoms and other benign gynaecological conditions such as abdominal surgery, including abdominal hysterectomy, ovarian cystectomy, salpingooophorectomy and vulval diseases such as atrophic changes, lichen planus and lichen sclerosis.  This includes NovaSure endometrial ablation under general of local anaesthetic to treat heavy periods and also incision free ultrasound radiofrequency treatment for fibroids/ Sonata.  Colposcopy including diagnosis of cervical cancer or precancer and treatment of precancer cells.  He also completed menopause certificated and now he is BMS certified menopause specialist.
