Trained at Cambridge University and University College London Medical School, graduating with Distinction. Postgraduate training at St George's Hospital, Royal Brompton Hospital and hospitals in Surrey and Sussex. Research interest in COPD treatment. Appointed as Chief of Cancer Division at Surrey & Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust in 2014 and then Chief Medical Officer in 2019.
