GMC reg: 7080302Dr Mohammed initially trained as a bio-scientist, specializing in genetics at the University of Cambridge and completing an MSc in biology at the University of Oxford, before delving into the pharmaceutical industry (Oxford Science Park and MRC Prion Unit at Queen Square, University College London). He subsequently re-trained as a medic (Cambridge Graduate Course in Medicine), specializing in clinical oncology, undertaking specialist registrar training at Imperial College NHS Trust, The Royal Marsden Hospital and The Royal Sussex County Hospital. He has been a consultant clinical oncologist at Charing Cross Hospital since 2020, where he introduced, developed and established the SABR radiotherapy service. He is a member of The Royal College of Physicians (London) and a Fellow of The Royal College of Radiologists (New Fellows Speaker award).
Clinical oncology
Primary & secondary thoracic cancers (NSCLC, SCLC, LCNET, mesothelioma and thymic cancers) and primary & secondary CNS (brain and spine) cancers (LGG, HGG, meningioma, ependymoma, medulloblastoma, pituitary tumours, pineal tumours and intra-cranial germ cell tumours). This includes SACT (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, TKIs), radiotherapy (radical, palliative, SABR, SRS and Gamma Knife) and Optune (tumour treating fields)
