I am a practicingConsultant Gynaecologist in the NHS for the last  10 years, having trained in the United Kingdom  in Obstetrics andGynaecology. I have done the Royal college Special skills module in Gynae oncology and Vulval Disorders. I am also accredited in Colposcopy BSCCP. Prior to that I havedone by basic qualification ( MBBS) from Gandhi medical college in Hyderabad (India) and specialist post graduation (Doctorate in Medicine in Obstetrics and Gynaecology) from the same University ( University of health Sciences, Andhra Pradesh) In my Current job I am mainly involved in cancer diagnostics and also am the lead for the Colposcopy services in Leicestershire delivered by the University hospitals of Leicester.  I have 15 years  experience in diagnosing and treatingcervical precancer changes. In addition to complex open surgery ,I have  experience in advanced laparoscopic surgery and perform laparoscopic hysterectomy,oophorectomy and adhesiolysis. I am very involved in Gynae cancer diagnostics and run regular screening and diagnostic clinics. ( Postcoital Bleeding, Intermenstrual Bleeding) I also run a tertiary level Vulval disorders clinic registered with the British Society of Vulvo Vaginal Diseases(BSSVD). I see patients with complex lichen sclerosis, vulval pain and precancer changes of the vulva ( VIN). I perform a large number of minor procedures and developed  an outpatient  Vulval procedure clinic at the Leicester General Hospitals. I am very reassured and encouraged by my patients response to my clinical consultation, communication skills, decisions and management  as evidenced with the compliments they have sent me and  patient survey conducted by our professional body. ( GMC 360 degrees appraisal) The NHS outpatient feedback  has also been quite gratifying with very positive patient comments. I enjoy my work and this is well appreciated by my colleagues and my patients.
