GMC reg: 3583849I trained in Medicine at the University of London (UCH and Middlesex school of Medicine) and qualified in 1992. I undertook specialist training in endocrinology from 1995 and became a consultant in 2002, dual accredited in Endocrinology and also general medicine. My NHS practice is based at Salford Royal Foundation Trust, where I have developed and lead a large tertiary level endocrine department of international repute. I undertake work in all aspects of endocrinology and chair the regional pituitary Multidisciplinary team (MDT) meeting and co-chair the regional Adrenal MDT. I have a strong research interest in pituitary disease and am currently involved in several international studies. My approach to people with endocrine problems has always been very holistic - hormones affect people in different ways and my years of experience mean that I can get to the route of problems quickly, addressing the issue of concerns to the person seeking advice and will often be able to personalize treatments to allow people to get back to normal life. I am approachable and build a personal relationship with people that I think is important to me as a clinician
