GMC reg: 4116873I am a consultant in paediatric endocrinology at Leeds Teaching Hospitals, providing an extensive specialist service across Yorkshire. I qualified from Manchester in 1994 and received my specialist endocrinology training in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Sheffield. My clinical work spans all disorders of the endocrine glands with common referrals including the assessment of children with short stature, early or late puberty, thyroid problems and bone disorders. I provide an expert opinion for children and teenagers up to the age of 18. Some concerns may be normal physiological variations, which do not require further tests, some need monitoring and others require testing and treatment. I strive to provide the best advice for each individual in an open, honest and engaging manner. The clinics are held on a Wednesday late afternoons or alternate Saturday mornings. I have numerous publications and prizes. I have set up teaching programmes and contributed to education in the wider community including presentations to families at specific parent/child group forums.
