Dr Sunit Godambe

Dr Sunit Godambe is a Consultant Neonatologist and Paediatrician at Imperial College Healthcare NHS UK. Dr Godambe trained in India before moving to UK. Before taking on the Consultant position in UK, he did a Perinatal Fellowship in Toronto, Canada for a year. Dr Godambe, now registered in the UK as a qualified healthcare professional since 1997, specialises in Paediatrcs and Neonatology. His interests include care of the newborns and dealing with problems in a child. In addition to being a Neonatal Consultant at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (ICHNT), he also is the Divisional Director for Clinical Governance for Women, Cardiac, and Clinical Support Division. He is also one of Trustee for the COSMIC Charity which helps newborn babies and children admitted to ICHNT and their parents. Specialises in treatment of specific conditions like: Care of the newborn, premature and small of date infants; BCG immunisation; childhood immunisation; travel immunisation; growth and developmental assessment of infants; weaning advice; failure to thrive; infantile eczema; cradle cap; respiratory illnesses like croup, bronchiolitis, chest infection, viral-induced wheeze, hyper-reactive airway disease, and childhood asthma; gastrointestinal illnesses like acute gastroenteritis, abdominal colic, gastro-oesophageal reflux, cow's milk protein intolerance, lactose intolerance and constipation; developmental delay; breath-holding spells and reflex anoxic seizures
