I Have been a consultant working in the NHS and the private sector since 2008. Having graduated from the most prestigious medical school in Colombo Sri Lanka, I completed my specialist training in the Oxford deanery and the all Wales deanery. Qualifications MBBS -Sri Lanka MS- Sri Lanka MRCOG-UK MRCP-Ireland FRCS- Edinburgh At present I work at Cwm Taf University Health Board as a senior consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. I have worked as the RCOG Collage tutor actively participating in training junior doctors. Furthermore, I have also worked in managerial posts such as clinical director. I work as the lead for cancer services and Colposcopy. In addition,  I have also authored several publications and have presented several posters and oral presentations an international and local conferences. I am interested in the management of menstrual disorders of all ages including post menopausal bleeding. I also deal with the management of pelvic pain, cervical smear abnormalities , Colposcopy and laparoscopic procedures including laparoscopic hysterectomy. In addition to the above, I undertake hysteroscopic procedures such as endometrial ablation, polyp resection and uterine surgeries. My management plans are individually tailored to each patient. I believe in delivering gold standard care for all patients.
