I am a self-motivated, competent, analytical, medical professional with attention to detail and successful in implementation of clinical projects within defined timeframe and experience in clinical governance, implementation and maintain clinical quality standards in Oncology. I have more than 20 years experience in General Internal Medicine & Oncology in National health Service and over 14 years’ experience as Consultant in Clinical Oncology with proven track record in clinical service, technical development, clinical governance, risk management, medical education & training, clinical audits, critical appraisal, project management, oral & poster presentations, research management and leading National & International Oncology trials. My Research experience includes several research projects, expertise in research funding, Clinical Trial management, Research Governance, collaboration with National & International organisation, leading commercial clinical trials and experience in phase II- IV clinical trials. My track record ensured Southampton General Hospital & Wessex as the leading Head & Neck cancer trial centre in UK in 2017 & 2018 both in terms of number of clinical trials and number of patients recruited. I have rich experience in both undergraduate and postgraduate medical education including, curriculum development, exam standard setting, medical interviews and national PG selection, Examiner for UG & PG medical graduates, patient safety, teaching and training, career counselling and pastoral support. I have excellent networking and communicational skills as well strategic management experience at local, regional, National and International organisations and over 12 years’ experience in managing and leading diverse multi-disciplinary clinical teams. I have strong Leadership experience both in National Health service and Private Healthcare sectors in UK and possess excellent organisational skills and collaborative working.
