GMC reg: 4527952Dr. Sebastian Hendricks is a highly specialised consultant for hearing and balance problems including tinnitus and hyperacusis. His passion is working with children and young people. Dr Hendricks is a consultant at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children after having been a lead consultant for the Royal Free London Hospitals and University College London Hospitals (Royal National Ear Nose and Throat Hospital) for over 16 years. He trained and specialised in paediatrics in Germany, and he also so practiced in Austria, the United States of America, and Canada as well as the Emirate of Qatar before moving to the UK in 1998 and becoming a British Citizen. Having trained across major teaching hospitals in London he gained his second specialisation in Audiovestibular Medicine in 2004. Because of his national work and contributions to the specialties he was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health early on in his career. For his national work in Audiology and the British Society of Audiology (BSA), he was also awarded to be a principal fellow of the BSA. He is the current hon. treasurer of the International Association of Physicians in Audiology.
