I have been a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital (RBH) since March 2005. With my colleagues, I set up and started the fastest growing PCI programme in the UK. The cardiology department at RBH is the largest non-surgical PCI centre in the UK and the 7th largest PCI centre in the UK. We are also the Heart Attack Centre for Dorset performing 24/7 Primary PCI for the surrounding one million population. The development of the Dorset Heart Centre PCI service was instrumental in winning the Hospital Doctor Cardiac team of the year 2006. I have performed over 5000 PCI cases as the first operator, which includes a large number of complex cases. I have a wide experience of vein graft and left main stem PCI and have also performed many bifurcation procedures using a variety of different techniques. I have a huge experience in General Cardiology having been a consultant for 20 years. I am the go to person tor difficult cases and pride myself in finding answers for patients.
