Dr Richard Azurdia

I am a general adult Consultant Dermatologist with an interest in inflammatory diseases and skin cancer. I qualified from Nottingham University in 1990 and have since worked all over the country - I also worked for 12 months in Australia. I completed my specialist dermatology training in Liverpool in 2000 and then became a Consultant Dermatologist locally in 2001 with its main department base at Broadgreen Hospital part of Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. I was the Clinical Director/Lead of Dermatology and Allergy between 2010-2018 & 2019-2021. I am the secondary care Clinical Lead for dermatology in CMAST since 06/19 working on the Cheshire & Merseyside teledermatology and AI roll-out.

My specialist interests are phototherapy for inflammatory skin disease and cutaneous lymphoma.
