GMC reg: 4410096I have been a consultant cardiologist working at The Great Western Hospital since 2009. I was elected to the Council of the British Heart Rhythm Society in 2019. For the first 5 years I worked one day per week at The Oxford Heart Centre at the John Radcliffe Hospital. As well as treating emergency cardiology patients and carrying out emergency procedures, I also have regular outpatient clinics. I am lead for heart failure and device therapy (pacemakers, defibrillators and cardiac resynchronisation devices as well as permanent conduction system pacing). I am fully accredited by examination and assessment by Heart Rhythm UK, the European Heart Rhythm Association, by the ESC in cardiovascular magnetic resonance (level 3), have previously been accredited by BSE (adult). All procedures including complications are uploaded to the national audit databases for cardiology. I work closely with my colleagues. I have an on going interest in cardiology research and enjoy collaboration with colleagues to advance learning, and am principle investigator in device and pharmacology studies.
