Dr Omar Khan

I trained in London and graduated in 1999. I commenced medical oncology training on the North London rotation in 2004 and continued my training in Oxford from 2005. I undertook research at the University of Oxford from 2007-2011 in cancer biomarkers for HDAC inhibitors leading to the award of a DPhil as well as several peer-reviewed publications. After completion of medical oncology training in Oxford, I have been practising as Consultant Medical Oncologist at the Great Western Hospital, Swindon since April 2013. I am clinical lead for oncology and am also clinical tutor at Bristol Medical School. I specialise in the treatment of lung cancer, mesothelioma, ovarian cancer, renal cancer, bladder cancer and prostate cancer. My private practice is based at BMI The Ridgeway Hospital.
