GMC reg: 4209250Dr Segal graduated from King’s College London in 1995 before training in cardiology at St. Bartholomew’s and The London Chest Hospitals in 1999. He completed a doctorate in electrophysiology and mapping complex ventricular arrhythmias at St. Mary’s Hospital in 2003 before further training at The Heart Hospital (UCLH) and St. George’s Hospital in 2008. In 2007 he completed a fellowship in pacing & electrophysiology at Prof. George Klein’s world-renowned electrophysiology unit in London, Ontario, Canada. Dr Segal was awarded 1st prize in the highly prestigious Young Investigator Award competition for clinical research at the 2004 Heart Rhythm Society in San Francisco, USA. Consultant Appointments Dr. Segal was appointed a Consultant Cardiologist at The Heart Hospital, University College London Hospitals in 2008, before moving to the Barts Heart Centre, St. Bartholomew’s Hospital in April 2015 when services were transferred. He is lead for arrhythmia and electrophysiology at University College Hospital and runs weekly arrhythmia clinics in the NHS. He sees patients privately at The Harley Street Clinic, The Wellington Hospital and The Beaconsfield Clinic. He was made a Fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society and Royal College of Physicians in 2013.
