GMC reg: 4325363I trained at the University of Cambridge (Sidney Sussex College, 1990-93) before moving to the University of Oxford (St John's College, 93-96) winning prizes at both Universities and completing an MA. I moved to London to complete my General Medical training before starting a PhD at the University of Bath which examined basic mechanisms of the pain experience. I developed my interest in supporting research into chronic pain conditions and established the CRPS-UK Registry which now has more than 500 patients. I joined Cambridge University Hospitals in 2007 where was Clinical Lead for Rheumatology for 10 years (2009-2019). I continue to Chair committees at the BSR and CRPS-UK and keep my full time NHS practice in Cambridge.
