GMC reg: 4197849I qualified as a medical practitioner in 1995 in London following which I served with the military where I started my higher professional training in Anaesthesia. Having seen a lot of musculo-skeletal issues in the forces I already had an interest in pain management which naturally led to an interest in Pain medicine, a branch of Anaesthesia. I was fortunate to get a place in the North West school of Anaesthesia, starting in 2002 until 2007. AS part of this I did advanced pain training at Salford and Wythenshawe hospitals. I started my NHS consultant post in Stockport in 2007, and this is where I am still based. I started private practice in 2008, and have steadily built up links with the neuroscience doctors and now work closely with them. This allows me excellent support and together we are able to offer an excellent service for our patients. Personally, I am married with two children, and have a keen interest in running and motorsport.
