GMC reg: 2826484I have been a consultant ophthalmologist since 1999 have had a broad training in general ophthalmology but incorporating experience in neurosurgery, A&E, and teaching. I gained international experience with a travelling fellowship in Singapore to enhance a UK training. I have had management experience and am an enhanced appraiser. I have teaching and supervisory remit at both post- and undergraduate level. I work with Royal Colleges as examiner for higher postgraduate assessment. I have served on Research ethic committees, and national procurement panels. I have published on a wide variety of ophthalmology subjects, and been a peer reviewer for learned journals. My clinical interests apart from cataract (phacoemulsification) are more anterior segment of the eye and external diseases including lacrimal work, but I have a general ophthalmology training. My hobbies are playing music in various groups, equitation and cricket.
