Dr Mohammed Azher

I graduated MBBS in 1977 and I have been a consultant in Respiratory and general Medicine since 1991. I am actively involved in education and training for Respiratory and General Medicine. I am an active member of British thoracic Society, European Respiratory Society and fellow of American college of Chest Physicians. I am a member of Cambridge deanery Respiratory training committee and I am actively involved in postgraduate examinations locally and internationally. I am Divisional Medical Director in my trust in Bedford.

I am lead consultant in my hospital for asthma, COPD and Lung Cancer service. I have special interest in lung Fibrosis ,sarcoidosis and thrombo-embolic lung disorders. I organise and perform interventional procedures like Bronchoscopy ,EBUS and pleural procedures. I have special liaison with thoracic surgeons from university college hospital London and Papworth Hospital Cambridge
