Dr Mehul Dhinoja

I have over 20 years experience as a cardiologist and have been a consultant for over 17 years at St Bartholomew's Hospital. I have expensive experience in all aspects of cardiology and my sub-specialty expertise is in the treatment of all types of heart rhythm problems. I am an expert in catheter ablation, pacemaker, implantable defibrillators and left atrial appendage occlusion procedures. I am consistently one of the highest volume operators at St Bartholomew's Hospital and my outcomes are openly published and reviewed by my colleagues at the monthly audit meetings. My outcomes have always been consistent with those published in the international guidelines and literature. Furthermore, my procedural data are publicly available in the NICOR database. I strongly believe in helping my patients to understand their heart problems and the different treatments that I am offering. I always ensure that my patients have additional information to read and I always welcome follow up questions. All of the treatments that I offer are based upon the latest research and treatment guidelines.
