Following completion of my specialist training in diabetes, endocrinology and general internal medicine in Wessex, I have worked as a Consultant in Diabetes and General Medicine since 2008. Key achievements: 2008 - Developed the trustwide Inpatient Diabetes Service at University Hospital Southampton 2015 Presented with the Quality in Care Diabetes 'Outstanding Educator in Diabetes' award 2016 Co-developed a smartphone application (Microguide 'DiAppbetes') to provide diabetes guidance to help healthcare professions.
