Dr Kathleen Goodchild

I am currently the Co-Chair of the London Clinic thyroid multidisciplinary meeting and a member of the London Clinic head and neck multidisciplinary meeting.  I deliver systemic therapies at the London Clinic and also at BMI Bishopswood where appropriate.  Radiotherapy is delivered at the London Clinic. I also treat benign thyroid disease with Radioactive iodine at either the London Clinic or Mount Vernon Cancer Centre. I trained in Clinical Oncology at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre/Charing Cross hospital and UCLH, gaining FRCR in 1995 and becoming a Consultant in 2000 at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre specialising in Head and neck and Thyroid cancer.  I was the Lead for Head and Neck Cancer research at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre until 2016 and recruited patients into multiple clinical trials. I undergo annual Appraisal through BMI Connected doctors.

I undertake the delivery of Radiotherapy (IMRT), Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy to patients with head and neck cancer. I undertake the delivery of Radioactive iodine ablation and targeted drug therapies for thyroid cancer.
