Dr Jonathan Swinburn

I did my undergraduate training at Cambridge University, and completed my medical training at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School.  I completed my MD at the University of London.  I undertook cardiology training in the North West London region, including at the Royal Brompton Hospital, Harefield Hospital and the Royal Free Hospital.  I am trained in all aspects of general cardiology including echocardiography, pacemaker and defibrillator management and implantation, and coronary angiography and angioplasty.  I moved out of London to take up a consultant post at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading in 2006 and have been working here ever since.  I enjoy cooking, cycling, swimming and DIY when I manage to escape from the hospital.
