Dr Jeremy Braybrooke

Jeremy is a Consultant Medical Oncologist and Clinical Director at Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre. His oncology training at the Cancer Research UK Medical Oncology unit in Oxford included a period of laboratory research leading to a PhD. Since 2003 Jeremy has worked in Bristol developing a large research focussed practice specialising in breast and testicular cancers. He is enthusiastic about clinical trials and understanding patients' experience of anti-cancer treatments. Jeremy was a member of the NICE Technology appraisal committee until 2019 and continues as an adviser to NICE. Since 2016, Jeremy has spent one day a week working with the Early Breast Cancer Trialists Collaborative Group at the University of Oxford providing clinical input into meta-analyses of randomised trials that help inform current clinical practice and guidelines for the treatment of early breast cancer. Jeremy has co-authored over 50 peer reviewed publications.
