GMC reg: 4040222I qualified as a doctor with honours in 1993, having read medicine at Oxford University and the Medical College of St Bartholomew's Hospital. At Bart's, I was awarded (jointly) the CC Frears in Clinical Neurology and spent my elective period at the Department of Neurology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. My clinical neurology specialist training took me through four neuroscience centres in London, including The National Hospital, Queen Square. I was appointed consultant at Chase Farm Hospital and The Royal Free Hospital in 2007. In 2013, I moved into private practice full-time.
