GMC reg: 4431792I grew up in London and qualified from St Bartholomew's Hospital Medical College in 1997 with degrees in medicine and psychology. After obtaining my membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2000 I began my cardiology training at the Royal Brompton Hospital, where I completed my MD thesis in cardiac MRI. I continued my cardiology registrar training in Taunton, Bristol and Adelaide. I was appointed consultant cardiologist at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in 2009, and visiting consultant to the Royal Surrey County Hospital. I became a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in 2013. I have a particular interest in the non-invasive assessment of cardiac conditions, particularly with echocardiography and cardiac MRI. I founded the cardiac MRI service at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in 2009, and successfully led the process of the echo department being accredited by the British Society of Echocardiography in 2015. I founded the cardio-obstetric clinic at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in 2010. I have held various educational and management roles at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, including cardiology clinical lead from 2020 to 2023. I sit on the clinical standards committee of the British Society of Echocardiography. My research interests include cardiac MRI, in particular stress perfusion cardiac MRI. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, meals out and overseas travel.
