Special clinical interests
I was an NHS consultant at the Sussex Eye Hospital for nearly twenty years, with specialist interests in cataract surgery, paediatric ophthalmology, adult and paediatric squint surgery, neuro-ophthalmology and emergency eye care. I retired from the NHS in April 2026 and no longer see patients in Brighton. In Hertfordshire, I can see and treat adult private patients at Spire Hospital Harpenden. This hospital also allows children aged 0-16 years to be seen, but NOT treated surgically. - however, surgery can be done at the Clementine Churchill Hospital in Harrow from May 2026.
