I have special interests in the management of Severe Asthma and Obstructive Sleep Apnoea I run one of the severe asthma services at Bradford Teaching hospitals NHS Foundation trust I also head one of the Largest Respiratory Clinical Trial Units in the UK I am the National Clinical Lead for Industry  for The Respiratory Medicine Speciality Group at the National Institute for Health Research ( NIHR) I am considered a International Key opinion leader in the design and conduct of severe asthma and COPD Clinical trials
