Dr Deven Vani

I have been practising as a Consultant physician and Gastroenterologist for 20 years, previously at Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust and currently based at Harrogate District Foundation Trust.  My subspecialty interests are in Advance upper and lower GI endoscopic procedures, Inflammatory bowel disease, Liver diseases and Complex GI problems. I qualified in 1991 from India, and went onto do a MD in General Medicine. I came to Britain in 1995 and did my specialist training in Gastroenterology in Yorkshire having worked in in Leeds, York, Hull and Pontefract. I spent over two years on the liver transplant unit at St James University Hospital, where I developed my special interest in liver diseases. 

Specialist interests - Hepatology, Gastroenterology, Bowel disease including IBD, Endoscopic procedures, Colonoscopy, Liver Diseases, Advanced Endoscopy.
