I was an Imperial College Medical Student and joined St Mary’s Hospital in 2002 to lead the Emergency Gynaecology service. When the Trust merged to form ICHT I continued to work collaboratively with colleagues at QCCH and we now have an integrated service seeing over 15000.The Early pregnancy service is part of the Tommie’s National miscarriage service partnered with Birmingham and Warwick University Hospitals.  As part of my training I was a Clinical Research Fellow at The Early pregnancy, Gynaecology Ultrasound and Minimal Access Surgery unit at St. George’s Hospital, London. I am a BSCCP accredited Colposcopist.   In 2011 I took on a management role as Clinical Director for Gynaecology & Reproductive Medicine.  The service is the largest in London and second largest in the country, offering all NHSE specialist commissioned Gynaecological services. Within the NHS primary care collaborative working is a key focus recognizing the need to integrate primary and secondary care in the interest of seamless patient care delivered close to home.        

Practice: I offer a one stop approach during the assessment for most gynaecological problems including menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, ovarian cysts and abnormal cervical smears. My approach is to provide the most comprehensive approach during the initial assessment to streamline care and to avoid unnecessary follow-up. I performs ultrasounds scan during the assessment, as required, to support this approach.
