Mr David Ralston

I'm a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, with a private practice at Spire Claremont Hospital and Park Hill Hospital (Ramsay) in Doncaster. My private interests include aesthetic, breast augmentation, reduction and uplift and body contouring surgery.I am a member of the skin cancer MDT in the Royal Hallamshire Hospital and treat all forms of skin cancer in my NHS practice including melanoma an sentinel node biopsy(this is not available privately in Sheffield at present). I graduated in 1986 from University of Manchester Medical School (MBChB) and continued my surgical training in the West Midlands, to become a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS Eng) in 1991. I was registered into the GMC Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery in July 2000 and am a full member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS). I attended two fellowships abroad at the Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto, Canada and the Royal Brisbane Hospital in Brisbane, Australia. I have published widely in Plastic Surgery and presented nationally. I have been working as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon both in the NHS and privately since 2001.

Breast surgery, augmentation, reduction, asymmetry correction and uplift. Body contouring surgery including abdominoplasty, mini, standard and Fleur de Lys or corset. Liposuction, arm reduction (brachioplasty). Prominent ear correction. Removal of benign skin lesions. Removal of malignant skin lesions including malignant melanoma, squamous skin cancer and basal cell carcinoma. Reconstruction with local flaps and skin grafts. Scar assessment and management.
