I have been practising as a Consultant in Pain Management for over eight years. I specialise in spinal, knee and shoulder pain. My unique expertise includes ultrasound-guided injection therapies eg genicular (knee) and suprascapular (shoulder) plus radiofrequency denervation of the upper and lower spinal facets.  I specialise in pain management injection procedures. I have specific interest in the Genicular nerve blocks and radiofrequency ablation procedures. These procedures are for those with non-operable knee pain (particularly osteoarthritis), too young or frail for a knee replacement, post-operative knee pain, Suprascapular nerve blocks, non-operable shoulder pain, too young or frail for a shoulder replacement, lumbar (lower back) or cervical (neck) radiofrequency ablation or for neck/low back pain with facet joint symptoms. To date I have performed 200+ genicular nerve procedures, 100+ suprascapular nerve procedures and 300+ lumbar/cervical facet joint procedures. I bring a patient-centred, evidence-based approach honed through work at NHS and private centres, and am committed to delivering personalised, high-quality pain reduction that supports functional recovery and improves quality of life. I am the Clinical Lead for Stockport Pain Management. I am the Departmental Chair for Stockport NHS FT Anaesthetics and the Anaesthetic Sustainability Lead for Stockport NHS FT.
