Mr Daniel Tweedie

Daniel Tweedie is a specialist children's ENT consultant, who treats babies and children of all ages. He grew up in London, and completed medical degrees at Cambridge University, where he was awarded a distinction in his final MB examinations and a Cambridge Blue in the University Boat Race. Following this, he trained in London, including a specialist paediatric ENT fellowship at Great Ormond Street Hospital. He was then appointed as a Consultant Paediatric ENT Surgeon at Evelina London Children's Hospital, part of Guy's and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust, where he recently won an award for outstanding patient care. Mr Tweedie has a wide variety of research interests. He has published articles in a number of international journals, and has also lectured at national and international meetings. His current work is focused on minimally invasive intracapsular tonsillectomy, the largest prospective series of its type in the UK. He is also a council member of the British Association for Paediatric Otorhinolaryngology (BAPO). Outside medicine, he enjoys spending time with his family, including four young children.
