Ms Cynthia-Michelle Borg

Ms Borg qualified as a Doctor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Malta. She completed a research degree (MD University of London) at King’s College Hospital and at the Department of Metabolic Medicine at the Hammersmith Hospital. She completed her surgical training in London and NE Thames and was appointed as a consultant surgeon at UHL in 2012. She has been elected to BOMSS council and is a Regional Surgical Advisor for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. She is also part of the Communications Committee of IFSO. Her interests are bariatric surgery, benign upper GI conditions and abdominal wall hernias.
