Chris Pring is a specialist laparoscopic (key-hole), upper GI and bariatric (weight loss) surgeon. Having graduated from Cambridge University Chris Pring is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and was awarded a Doctorate (MD) by thesis for his research into the molecular biology of oesophageal cancer. Since 2008 Chris has been a Consultant Surgeon for the NHS and performs over 350 laparoscopic procedures each year. As a recognised trainer of laparoscopic and bariatric surgery for the NHS, Chris runs a number of successful surgeon training programmes.
