GMC reg: 3338867Current post: Professor of Prostate Oncology and Consultant clinical oncologist at Royal Marsden Hospital, Sutton. Chris qualified in medicine from Oxford University in 1989. He trained in oncology at the Royal Marsden Hospital. After a research fellowship at Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto, he was appointed to his current post in 2001. Chris has been chief investigator of prostate cancer trials testing the use of active surveillance for localized disease, post-operative radiotherapy for locally advanced disease and of radionuclides for metastatic disease. He is a past-chairman of the National Cancer Research Institute Prostate Cancer Studies Group. He has published over 300 articles on prostate cancer.
