I have a substantial profile in structural intervention (valve disease) and am a proctor- physician trainer for all 3 main valve systems. I am one of the highest volume operators in the UK and I perform several hundred coronary and valve procedures every year in patients with established heart disease. I contribute to the 24/7 primary angioplasty service for emergency PCI for West Yorkshire. I am active in clinic research - particularly in the field of aortic valve intervention, TAVI valve durability and edge to edge repair for mitral valve disease. Family man and enjoy travel, cycling, skiing and open water swimming.
