I am a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with a specialist interest in hand and wrist surgery. I completed my registrar training in Bristol and undertook hand surgery fellowships in Oxford and Sydney (Royal North Shore Hospital). I was appointed as a Consultant in Plymouth in January 2008. I continue to have research interests and have been involved in several national multi-centre trials (Dupuytrens surgery, wrist fracture surgery, scaphoid injuries). I teach wrist trauma management on international courses. Away from surgery, I enjoy time with the family, sailing and trail running.
