Mr Charalambos Charalambides

Mr Charalambos Charalambides MD, FRCS (Ed), FRCS (Trauma and Ortho) Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon Mr Charalambos Charalambides is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at The Whittington Hospital in London. He qualified as a medical doctor from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, where he completed his initial Orthopaedic training and was awarded a Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training in Orthopaedic Surgery in June 1994. He subsequently entered the South West Thames (St George’s) higher specialist Orthopaedic training programme in England. After successfully completing his SpR training and passing the FRCS (Trauma & Orthopaedics) examination, he gained a second Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training in October 2001. Mr Charalambides has developed extensive experience in all aspects of Orthopaedic Surgery, with a particular focus on foot and ankle disorders. Since his appointment as a Consultant at The Whittington Hospital in 2002, he founded and expanded the Foot and Ankle service, treating both routine and complex cases. He also maintains a special interest in trauma, managing most types of injuries except for pelvic and spinal trauma. A Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Mr Charalambides is also a member of the British Orthopaedic Association and the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society. Committed to individualised patient care, he strives to treat every patient with patience, respect and dignity. Mr Charalambides accepts referrals from general practitioners, insurance providers, referring specialists, and self-referred patients.
